Non-Discrimination Policy for Girls Play Flag Football:

At Girls Play Flag Football, we are committed to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all female players, volunteers, parents, and supporters. We believe in creating a positive and supportive community that fosters respect, diversity, and equality for all girls, regardless of their race, ethnicity, gender, religion, sexual orientation, or socio-economic status.

We do not discriminate against anyone on the basis of any protected characteristic listed under applicable federal, state, and local laws, including but not limited to Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, Title IX of the Education Amendments, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and the Age Discrimination Act.

Specifically, Girls Play Flag Football is a league exclusively for girls. We are dedicated to providing opportunities for girls to participate and excel in the sport of flag football. We welcome girls of all skill levels and backgrounds to join our league and experience the benefits of sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal growth.

We recognize that boys may also have an interest in playing flag football. In such cases, we encourage them to explore coed opportunities offered by our partner organization, Chiefs Flag Football. Chiefs Flag Football provides coed leagues and ensures that boys and girls can participate and enjoy the sport together.

All players, coaches, and volunteers must adhere to this Non-Discrimination Policy and support our commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion within the context of a girls-only league. Any violation of this policy will not be tolerated and may result in disciplinary action, up to and including suspension or termination from the league.

Furthermore, we encourage anyone who feels that they have been subjected to discriminatory behavior or treatment to report it to the league organizers or to officials designated to address such situations.

We are dedicated to maintaining a safe, positive, and inclusive environment for all girls in our league. We believe that by providing girls with their own dedicated space, we empower them and promote their confidence and skills on and off the field.
